Admission

Are you interested in applying to our school? We look forward to meeting you and getting to know your child! These steps will walk you through the process:

1. Contact Our Admissions Director

It’s never too early to begin the application process.

Elizabeth Koch, Director of Admissions, can be reached via phone or email. Your first conversation will be a chance to let us know how old your child is and what program you are interested in applying for. We will invite you to schedule a call so that you may see what we have to offer.

2. Schedule a Tour

Your visit will start with a tour of the school, followed by an opportunity to meet with our administrative staff to ask any question you may have. Please note that these initial visits are for adults only.

An application package will be provided via email after your tour, which will include tuition information.  Please allow up to 30 minutes for your tour in order to have time for your follow-up questions.

3. Submit a Completed Application

Return the completed application package along with the application fee to the school. The application fee does not guarantee a spot in the program. Please keep in mind that spaces do fill early.

4. Your Child’s Visit

Once we have received a completed application, your child may be invited for an interview depending on their age. Typically, we only meet with older children.

5. Invitation to Enroll

Based on your application, interview and our capacity for new students, you will be invited to enroll your child. You will receive a formal letter of acceptance to Montessori Children's Schoolhouse and a deposit invoice to hold your child’s space. A $500 non-refundable deposit must be submitted within one week of acceptance. Otherwise, you are welcome to request placement in the waiting pool of applicants until a space becomes available.

“We were so lucky to find this place! I worried constantly about what environment was best for my son. As a former teacher, I value education but as a mother I value nurturing and warmth. This place is a terrific mix of those qualities. My son felt loved and safe and I felt good knowing he was learning and making friends.”

- Michele N., former parent

If you think your child would thrive in a Montessori environment, contact us to schedule a tour. We would love for you to visit our school and learn more.
