Theater Arts (5 - 6 years)

Theater Arts

Creative Energy

Our Capstone students participate in a special semester long theater experience with Jill Jeffreys,  Director of Gemini Theater Company, that culminates with a performance for friends and family.

Creative Energy

This program allows our Capstone students to channel their creative energy in this action-packed program, our students rehearse and perform a short play that they help to create from their own imaginations! This highly structured program, geared for young attention spans, includes a variety of exciting, fun-filled activities: costumes, scenery and prop-making, theater games, music, and movement. While having a great time, the children learn to listen, follow directions, remember, focus, accomplish objectives, take turns, work with others in a group situation, compromise, perform in front of an audience, and use their imagination.

Gemini Theater Company

The mission of Gemini Theater Company's vision is to see that all of their programs promote creativity, imagination and originality, and have a positive effect on the individuals who participate. Reduced funding for arts programs in our schools makes it more and more difficult for children to engage in activities that develop their creativity and imagination at an early age. Gemini Children’s Theater fills this need by providing programming, discounted tickets to performances and events, scholarships for acting classes and summer camps and reduced educational outreach performances for elementary and pre-K children in our local community.

The Gemini Theater is a nonprofit organization which was established in 1996 by Lani Cataldi and Dennis Palko as an interactive, musical children’s theater company. Gemini Theater Company has grown over the past twenty plus years, developing numerous programs and activities for children and adults, reaching over 100,000 through its programming.
